Hi,

First of all a happy new year.

I had always a message there is an update for extrawatch and the update does not works out for me.
So i deinstall all Extrawatch parts on my site and download after this the newest version on you page. After I reinstalled I get a 404 “component not found” in the backend and if I activate ExtraWatch PRO Agent Module on footer like before with shown on all sites of the webpage than a white screen of death appears on the webpage. I don’t know what to do now please help me out :(

Hi,

because of various versions in my installation I uninstalled all extrawatch parts from my joomla today and installed the latest EW version. I tried to open the admin panel and got a 404 error, too.

I also noticed the update available, that wouldn't clear when I clicked on it, so I downloaded the latest version that was published yesterday and a whole host of problems started. I'm getting the Component Not Found error when I click on the Components admin menu. I've read the forum and noted there is a previous issue with the extrawatch.php file not being in the /administrator/components/com_extrawatch folder (for the non PRO version). The latest installation isn't copying this file across, so I've done it manually but I still get the error. A VERY poor update experience that's had me going around in circles for 2 hours now, including a full un/re-install. disappointed.

There is now version 2.3.2381 available where this "component not found" is finally fixed. I really apologize for this trouble, then I've fixed problem with update appearing all the time, this was another bug which was introduced :( I've tested this update on our demo server and problem is gone. Please get the updated version from customer zone. Thank you for your understanding.
