I purchased extrawatch after using joomlawatch for many years, thank you very much. It's very powerful software. This is a technical question about improving site performance. Recently I updated to Joomla 3.x so I purchased Extrawatch too.
Some of the features though, I dont use, like the heatmap, and most of my site doesnt load any other jquery libraries. Extrawatch adds noconflict code, which I would prefer to manage myself, as well as its own jquery library, and also the4 following files:
I'm assuming one of these files include the jquery library, so on areas of my site where I am using jquery, I would rather share the lib and add noconflict then.
Please may I know, what is the smallest version of jquery that extrawatch can use? Can I set it up to use another jquery library rather than its built in version with a template override, or do I need to modify core files?
If I do not need the heatmap feature, can I disable the heatmap.js download file without interrupting other functionality?
And as a relatively minor technical question by comparison, can I replace the flags with my own single image PNG for all flags (using css background image offset to display the right one), or can disable flags but still show country visitors, again with a template override rather than modifying core files?
Thank you for your attention.
